In 2001, we opened a small copy center business in downtown East Bridgewater where I grew up. We moved to a larger location around the corner in 2003 where Happy Frog Copy Center stands today. We’ve made East Bridgewater our home with our 3 daughters, our cat and rescue dog.

Being the printer and the designer, custom work came naturally and Happy Frog Invitations came about when our customers could not find what they were looking for in albums that we carried. So began the more colorful, pocket style and hand crafted invitations that we provide today. Call me a late bloomer but I realized just what I wanted to do, what I liked to do and what I had a passion for when designing custom invitations.

As the invitation side of our business became not just an occasional order but rather an everyday event, we hired our a full time designer, Jessica, also a BSC graduate, to join our team. Being of like mind, she and I work well together as our creativity grows. We strive to provide you with a happy experience when you order your invitations from us.

Our restaurant specializes in creating memories. We pride ourself on providing quality food, hand crafted cocktails, an educated & accommodating staff in a unique historic setting. We also have overnight accommodations. We are a local family business and we are here to give you a place to celebrate, a place to escape from life’s stresses and a neighborhood spot where you can feel as comfortable as you do at a dear friends house.

Charter Oak’s Clubhouse is a 38,000 square foot masterpiece, built in the traditional Georgian style, and the splendor of its presentation as you approach from the main drive is majestic!

Our event spaces include:

• Grand Ballroom: Accommodates up to 275 guests with a large dance floor, and features floor-to-ceiling windows, French doors, and stunning chandeliers

• Living Room: Adjacent to the ballroom, the Living Room is an ideal option for smaller gatherings including cocktail receptions, rehearsal dinners and showers. The Living Room also has access to a beautiful, covered balcony with a breathtaking view of the grounds, as well as a cozy oversized fireplace

• Outdoor Terrace: Charter Oak’s newest addition! A picturesque setting for wedding ceremonies, and cocktail receptions. Available during the months of May-October.

Charter Oak also features a full-service Pro Shop, Tennis Courts, Olympic-size swimming pool and Baby Pool area, along with Fitness and Locker Rooms, Showers and snack Bar

Rental Information

Our room rental fees range from $1,000 to $3,000, based on function dates and type. Overtime extensions of up to one hour are permitted but must be arranged in advance. The overtime rate is $275 per half hour. All events must conclude by 12:30 a.m.

The outdoor ceremony fee of $1,500 includes one rehearsal, day-of setup, and additional folding chairs as needed. If your ceremony needs to be moved indoors due to inclement weather, it will take place in our Grand Ballroom.

Our staff can provide a VENDOR list to assist you with locating photographers, musicians, DJs, florists, and other outside services for your special day. Charter Oak Country Club may require a Hudson Police Detail for select functions.

Food and Beverage

All food and beverages must be provided by Charter Oak Country Club. With the exception of wedding cakes, guests are not permitted to bring in outside food or beverage items. Your food and beverage subtotal, as well as rental fees, are subject to Meals & Sales Tax for HUDSON, MA. All food and beverage agreements are also subject to a 20% Club Charge. If any additional fees are required, our staff will discuss them with you before booking.

Please note that Charter Oak Country Club is a no-tipping facility. We pay all staff members a generous hourly wage and our employees understand not to expect any tips or gratuities from Members or their guests. Members, guests, and all others using the Club are strongly discouraged from providing any payment above the Club Charge.

I am so blessed to be able to do what I love for “work” and truly enjoy every minute of it. As you can see I do a variety of genres but I specialize in babies and children. Being a Mom of 4, yes 4!! haha, I understand, live, and breathe these little humans everyday. So, when capturing your kiddos I try to not only get a great shot of their crooked teeth, and perfect little faces, but photograph, their little spark that makes them unique. I love it when the kids are laughing and “showing off” for me. It makes the sessions fun, real, and authentic. As a mother I understand how days can be crazy and years seem to fly by, so I hope by capturing these images you will be able to go back one day and remember those sweet faces, voices, and smells of your littles, and be reminded that even when the days were tough, they were beautiful. 🙂 Photography is so unique in that it can truly bring you back, and that is why I am so passionate about capturing not only the perfect portrait, but the candid lifestyle shots as well.

While planning for my wedding, I was completely overwhelmed. Venue, music, catering, invitations, photographer, registries, etc. There was so much to do and so little time. I was trying to plan an extravagant event on a very tight budget. Luckily, with my background in art and design, I was able to do a lot of the work myself. Located in the heart of the thriving Seaport District on Boston’s historic waterfront lies The Exchange.

The Exchange is a multi-purpose event venue managed and exclusively catered by East Meets West.

Featuring dramatic architecture, high ceilings, and spectacular panoramic views of Boston Harbor, The Exchange is a perfect fit for any event, from an elegant wedding reception to a charity gala.

The Exchange, on Boston Historic Waterfront is a stunning backdrop for any celebration. Exchange Hall, with floor to ceiling windows, offers a four-season, panoramic view of Boston Harbor, and our Harbor Terrace allows the party to move outdoors during the warmer months. East Meets West, our exclusive caterer, will design a custom menu suitable for catering to all life’s occasions, inspired by you.

Exchange Hall / McKay Room

This grand event hall offers stunning panoramic views of the Boston skyline and Boston Harbor. The three story sky-lit atrium offers plenty of natural light and the space can be transformed for any type of event. Wedding parties are able to enjoy the entirety of The Exchange for their special day, and only one wedding will be booked on any day.

Harbor Terrace

The Harbor Terrace is located right off of Exchange Hall, and allows guests to experience a waterfront ceremony or cocktail reception within the city. White fencing adds an elegant border. Tenting on the pier may also be available, depending on the season.

• Offers space for ceremony/theater-style seating as well as receptions.
• Offers al fresco dining, wedding ceremonies, and cocktail receptions on the water.
• Passed food and beverage service allowed on the terrace.

Second Floor Cocktail Space

The second floor of The Exchange offers a Harbor View Cocktail area that is a perfect spot for your next reception. It not only allows for breath-taking views of the water, but also gives a bird’s eye view of Exchange Hall. This space can make a cocktail reception and dining distinctly different during an event.

• Offers two separate beverage service stations for larger parties.

We specialize in unique fresh flower arrangements for every day life, weddings and events. Our designers are all professionally trained by Master designers from around the world. Our shop carries beautiful vases, creative containers for plants and flowers as well as orchids, plants and seasonal flowering accent plants. Consider the Lilies began as a design studio for weddings and events and soon blossomed into a full service, quintessential flower shop at it’s current retail location in The Duxbury Marketplace, Duxbury, MA.

Sarah has been working with flowers her whole life, watching her mother and grandmother at work. She began her business designing for local wedding and events from her home based studio and opened her retail shop shortly thereafter.

Shortly after creating an epic homemade photobooth for a New Years Eve party, celebrity photographer Eric Levin realized POSE. 

The idea: to marry the high-end aesthetics of an editorial photoshoot with a self-developed technology that allows guests to interact with their pictures in real time. Since then we have tackled hundreds of events, created large-scale custom photo booths using cars and old Hollywood film equipment, performed creative installations for major national brands and more. 

Fast forward 3 years, our team have identified a need to modernize not only photo booths, but also event photography as a whole. By combining our extensive party experience with proprietary software, POSE has become the premier provider of event and experiential photography services; keeping partygoers on their toes with new and exciting experiences and cutting edge technology.

The O-Tones, a hot New England Swing & Motown band, appeals to all ages. With lots of soul, they’ll melt your hearts & get your feet dancing. The O-Tones band has been playing for events in New England since 1990 & is a dynamic entity. 

Over their lifespan, various singers & instrumentalists have lent their talents to the band’s fun & professional Swing, Motown, Blues, & Soul sound. The basic group is 6-piece with three singers, sax, guitar, piano, bass, & drums, but this talented group performs regularly in many forms, ranging from duo to the full 6-piece and even a 14-piece big band! 

They can play for weddings, parties, dances, fundraisers, & other events. Perfect music for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, as well as dancing! They have many happy clients to recommend them.
