From its earliest beginning, the Old Mill has served a useful purpose in the community. Originally a sawmill where logs were processed for the new homes of the neighborhood, the Old Mill and its whirling saw sang a song of progress and industry through five generations of ownership before its wheels were stilled and it fell into disrepair in the late 1800’s.

Our specialities are Comfort food (baked haddock , meatloaf), Italian American (chicken marsala, chicken piccata) and Smokehouse Favorites (ribs, pulled pork, smoked salmon). We also have daily specials such as Wednesday smoked prime rib, Thursday homemade pot roast and Friday Fish and Chips. We use Certified Angus Beef and we are well known in the area our steaks and burgers. Everyday from 4-6 in the lounge we have a wonderful $5 bar menu featuring smoked salmon, fried calamari, meatball grinder, meatloaf sandwich and the best spinach dip around. Our full bar features draft or bottled beer along with some great cocktails with house Sangria, Margaritas or Cosmos starting at only $5. Our lounge features some of the best local entertainment.

In doing so, I realized how much fun I had creating the save the dates, invitations, table signage, escort cards, etc. It was a lot of work, but in the end it was me! I thought, man, I could help out a lot more brides, making completely custom tailored, fit to a T, just what you were looking for, paper goods. And with that, Towne Press was born.

Marion founded Mamie Brougitte Cakes in 2013. Her days as a toddler were her first in the kitchen, climbing to the countertop for culinary teachings from her grandmother Mamie Brougitte. Those lessons remain the main ingredient in what has turned into a married world of baking and art.

Raised by artist parents in multicultural surroundings, Marion pulls her deepest inspiration from her roots. Whether that be the intricacies of delicate handmade French lace from her summers in France, to the bold Brazilian tiles of historic towns in Bahia where her father lived. Or even the refusal to use nothing but the best handmade ingredients from local produce makers as she did in South Africa where she lived as a young adult.

Attention to detail is key. Working intimately with each client is her nature. And the process of turning a couple ingredients into a story to remember is her gift. 

Shortly after creating an epic homemade photobooth for a New Years Eve party, celebrity photographer Eric Levin realized POSE. 

The idea: to marry the high-end aesthetics of an editorial photoshoot with a self-developed technology that allows guests to interact with their pictures in real time. Since then we have tackled hundreds of events, created large-scale custom photo booths using cars and old Hollywood film equipment, performed creative installations for major national brands and more. 

Fast forward 3 years, our team have identified a need to modernize not only photo booths, but also event photography as a whole. By combining our extensive party experience with proprietary software, POSE has become the premier provider of event and experiential photography services; keeping partygoers on their toes with new and exciting experiences and cutting edge technology.
