The Curtis House’s pastoral charm and beautiful gardens offer laid back elegance in a natural setting.

An event here goes beyond the typical five-hour party. We host one event per weekend, and the entire Curtis House, barn, and grounds are yours for the duration of your rental, including overnight accommodations for up to nine if you book for the weekend or 1 day + 1 night. Time for a wedding rehearsal is included the day before your ceremony, and if you’re here for the weekend you can host your rehearsal dinner on the property as well.  Want to gather family and friends for brunch the morning after the wedding?  Talk to us about options.

We’ll assist with planning, day of coordination, catering, recommendations for outside vendors, and (if you’d like) floral design.

Our late 19th century barn has been meticulously restored, and fully opened for events in 2017, accommodating up to 140. The barn retains its rustic charm with exposed beams, locally milled hardwood floors, and a stone patio that opens onto our cut flower gardens. Attached to the barn is our antique Lutton glass greenhouse, a beautiful location for photos, with something in bloom regardless of the season.

Ceremonies typically take place under the apple trees or in front of stone wall gates, but we’re also next door to two iconic New England churches and within a few miles of beautiful scenic vistas.

Planning a winter event? We can accommodate up to 40 guests in the house, depending on the event.  Please contact us to discuss.
